This is an extremely vicious and dangerous move against the peace and harmony among all the communities in Colombo and in Sri Lanka as a whole. The damage it can do to the future of our country is unthinkable. Especially when considering the ever rising Islamic attacks targeting Sinhala Buddhists and their national heritage in this country. We the undersigned persons hereby earnestly request, Mr. Milinda Moragoda to be replaced with a suitable Sinhala Buddhist candidate. This has to happen with immediate effect or the election to be postponed until such person is found. Only a true Sinhala Buddhist candidate naturally has what it takes to develop Colombo city without any racist agenda.
