Please, keep in mind that Vaira Vike-Freiberga also described the concentration camp in Salaspils, Latvia, as a mere police prison where children were "cultivated through work".

For info: During World War II, the Nazis established Stalag-350-s, a camp for Soviet prisoners of war, in Salaspils. Two km outside of the city, in the nearby forest, the Nazi SS also established the largest civilian concentration camp in the Baltics.The total number killed in Salaspils concentration camp was 101,000 people, including children.

 I forgot to add that during her presidentship, Vaira Vike-Freiberga participated in all these 16th March marches herself - saluting the "courage" of these "sons of Latvia" in their fight against the Red Army which, together with Allies, won Nazis in 1945.

Нужно помнить также, что когда Вайра Вике-Фрейберга была президентом Латвии, она участвовала в этих маршах легионеров СС сама, отдавая честь "храбрости" и "мужеству" этих "сыновей своей родины" в их борьбе с Красной Армией, которая вместе с Союзниками, победила фашизм в 1945 году.
