Argos don't take money unless you are willing to hand over goods!! Do the right thing and give your customers their goods!! Remember the customer is always right!!!

everyone knew it was a price glitch due to a online forum.... some people even purchased 3 of these.... I am sorry but if Argos cancelled your order good for them, as people took advantage and knew of the glitch....

The price was misleading to begin with !! The offer stated less than half price £215 reduced to £19.99 but Argos states the PRICE as an error . Leading the public to believe the price was correct at £19.99 not £199.99 (not less than half price)

I don't think it's fair Argos are honouring half of people's orders and rejecting others, I have already emailed order enquiries with my complaint and made them aware I will contact the ombudsman as when they accept an order whethers it's email confirmation or money being taken from the account they are entering a binding contract to sell the items at that price

Contract not agreed until time of dispatch.  I wouldn't waste the ombudsman's time with this, Argos have acted within the law.

Greetings morons

You guys sound hilariously over-entitled. An automated system took your money, it was not a deliberate coup by Argos just a mistake pricing an item up and there is certainly no legal basis on which you can demand these goods at this price (if you think there is maybe spend 10 minutes looking into Argos' own T's and C's). If you make a mistake purchasing an item (e.g. by accidentally paying £10 too much) you certainly wouldn't take any nonsense from Argos that you were happy to pay that price and therefore have no right to get your money back.

Aside from anything else you are essentially highlighting yourselves as lacking a basic level of common sense since anyone who had this would know there was a strong chance this would happen and know it was a punt at best to even try buying this. Trust me Argos will not care even if all 135 of you never shop there again in fact based on the ridiculous sense of entitlement I'm sure there's many staff who will be relieved to never have to encounter you again.

I have ordered this too, at 20 quid it was an absolute steal!!..Perfect I thought, our friends have kindly ordered one for us! Since space is limited in our house it would of been perfect!

Now argos are taking it out on the customers when clearly it is an error on their end, why should the customer suffer the staffs brain fart moments?

Spread the word far!!.The Sherrif of Nottingham would be proud of this deed! Robbing people of their good, hard earnings and not delivering the goods!! Shame on you!!

I bought this as a gift for my son and his girlfriend as they have just moved into their first home. I don't have much money and was thrilled to bits to be able to buy them something. Really hope Argos do the honourable thing and accept everybody's order.

No they haven't, why is it one rule for 1 and another rule for someone else, why honour half of the orders and reject the rest bit unfair right? Some people already have delivery dates and times not our fault Asda are incompetent at correctly stating prices, also the error price was supposed to be £199.99 apparently from £215.59 but in the red writing it says "Less than half price" how does £15.60 off total less than half price
