Feedback on changes to the Spoonflower marketplace

Update from Spoonflower - Digital proofing from 1/1 with de-listing coming later

I've now had a further response from Spoonflower (see below). It confirms digital proofing will start on 1st January, but de-listing won't start until a later date.

They will send out further information about de-listing, including answers to common questions & concerns, before that commences. I have replied asking Kara to send an email to all Spoonflower artists clarifying that it's only digital proofing being introduced on 1st January, and not de-listing, to avoid unnecessary uncertainty and stress over the holiday period.

Thank you for your patience as we sort through the holiday rush, tax submissions (and affiliated issues there), and truly helpful feedback such as yours. We are actually planning on sending out another communication to artists in January providing some clarification to the commonly asked questions/concerns before we begin de-listing. Currently the plan is to introduce digital proofing 1/1 (not de-listing), but we will let you know how and when de-listing will occur with the aforementioned communication.

Following up with Spoonflower

Unfortunately I haven't heard any more from Spoonflower yet. I've followed up today with another email asking when artists will be communicated with about more specifics around the de-listing process. I pointed out there's just over two weeks until the changes are implemented and only another working week until Christmas so we urgently need some updates. I'm sorry I don't have any more news for you yet, and I hope that we all hear more from Spoonflower soon!

Initial response from Spoonflower

Our open letter was sent to Spoonflower with 116 signatures. I've had an initial response from them below, if I don't hear more within the next week I will be following up. I will keep you updated with any further responses from Spoonflower.
